Title: RCF TTS 15A
Post by: Tim Bird on August 28, 2019, 02:20:07 PM
Hi,  does anyone have any experience and views on the above ?  Am just considering switching from my bands current RCF 8003 mk1 subs to these but not able to find any reviews, and keen not to take a backwards step.

Have attached the frequency response graphs of both TTS 15A and the 8003, and from my limited understanding, the output spl appears similar at 134db , though the TTS 15 frequency response appears a little less "peaky" at around 70hz (which i assume maybe a good thing).

Use is for a cover band (rock) typically playing fairly small pubs / clubs (100-200 people), were we put everything (vdrums, kempers etc) through the PA.

Main reasons for considering are
a) smaller & lighter, and
b) Hoping to improve overall sound quality of band - have recently upgraded the tops (from rcf 725) to TT range (TT22a mk2) and very impressed with the clarity / punch improvement.

Really appreciate any input.

PS Apologies if some of terms above not correct - technical novice !!
