Title: music playback spectrum display
Post by: William Abel on February 03, 2014, 08:44:56 AM
I'm looking for a music playback spectrum display for my wedding DJ system. I would like to take a signal patch from my mixer output and send it to the display input. I want to visually see the frequency levels, so I'm not guessing (mostly on the low end) EQ levels going from old country to top 40 music.

Years past there were items like Samson D-150, they are no longer made. So i'm looking for something like this or a simple stand alone program for my pc to display this.

Thanks, Bill

a simple stand alone program for my pc to display this.

How accurate does it need to be?  I found this: http://download.cnet.com/Audio-Spectrum-Analyzer/3000-20432_4-75325061.html (http://download.cnet.com/Audio-Spectrum-Analyzer/3000-20432_4-75325061.html); I have no idea how accurate it is, actually never heard of it.
