The Dynacord DSA8212 amp would work fine bridged mono into a single 4 ohm TH-118.
You would need three more if you want to use the dynamic range the TH-118 can handle.
Their peak power of 3400 watts is good, but as Paul (and Ivan) have suggested the long term limiting should be set to about 1/4 that.

That was my take as well based on the specs but others suggested it might be OK to run one sub per channel? I guess I just  try it out and listen?

{...} One thing I was wondering and sort of alluded to: The X/M consoles' AES 50 can carry 48 audio channels each way. Is there any combination of use circumstances that uses that channel count to full capacity both ways? I can't think of any.

Given that you can route 32 channels of bidirectional audio directly between the card slot and an AES50 port (in addition to the DSP and any local I/O), I think the answer to this is "technically yes, but why?". :P

Fair enough. I've always referred to the "Y" splits as passive for some reason, though I've never thought of or referred to a transformer split as "active", so I guess it's a meaningless descriptor in that context.

..except that it's not meaningless: as Tim mentioned, active splits (i.e. audio splitters that involve an amplifier stage) are absolutely a thing, but the use-case for them is vanishingly small (although not nonexistent; for example, they're exactly the sort of "reliability through frivolity" that broadcast loves to throw its money at).

Hello,
I have two JTR Orbit Shifter subs (2021 model) and two Noesis 3TX (2016 model) for sale.
The subs have been used for 6 shows since purchased. I had sold my previous set for an install and upgraded to these. The Noesis are in excellent condition with no issues. I replaced one of the compression drivers in 2023. They also come with Underground padded covers & rain covers. Excellent speakers, I am consolidating equipment and scaling down as I now own a venue.
$7500, shipping not included. Located in St. Petersburg FL. Pictures on request, they are too big to upload here. Thank You

I’ve done some searching but not much info online.  Has anyone actually used a Bassboss system?  I was looking at the AT212-MK3 and dual-18 subs system.  It seems it would be a good medium system, like the JBL SRXs.  It has a lot of good DJ accolades but not much live band experience.  Thoughts?  Experiences with full bands?

At the risk of being called ultra pedantic, hardwired and transformer isolated splitters are both "passive" ;-)

I got called out on the terminology some years back...!
