Of course one of the big things is the bidirectional body pack, so for someone wearing a headworn microphone, for example, only needs one pack for the mic and IEM.
I bet TV studios will lap them up.

Why even bother with ad blocking?  If a site has too many ads to start with, stop going to that site.

Kind of difficult when 99.99% of sites have too many ads.

Mixing in a medium sized room, with everything else I can create a comfortable mix down to about 92db. But with the freaking garbage cans to get an even mix Im up over 105. No its not from bleed. They are just loud even with everything else muted. Hate hate hate that instrument.

End rant.

There's a reason they are named "Crash" and "Ride".....  ::)
Primary vocals from a drummer, favorite #1 Son.....  >:(

Chris.

Do you have a copy of it? Would love to get a copy of it and read.

Possibly this?

I searched their website today.  Couldnt find it.  Please not saying anything other than couldnt find it.  I love information.  I truly believe if we were more open in spreading information we ALL could make our industry safer.  However, greed does play a part in that.  Do you have a copy of it? Would love to get a copy of it and read.
The You Tube video is also inaccurate in a couple of ways that may or may not be substantial, depending on how one feels about misclassifying permanent guyline anchors as Jersey barricade.  I had to stop watching after some of these and I've still not finished the 15 minute video.

BTW, for anyone interested the Thornton-Tomasetti Engineering report is available on the T-T website.  535MB of PDF that includes photos, metallurgy reports, and copies of the incorrect engineering done for the previous year and was used again without revision even though the roof was to be assembled differently for 2012.

How Mid-America stayed in business after this is something that I would like to better understand but this topic probably cannot be accurately or factually addressed as all claims are settled and NDAs in place.

If it's Axient/PSM1000 quality or better, it's an absolute-fucking-game-changer.

It does, and it is.

A couple points about the Byte Bros tester - in the "certify mode", it gives length, skew, and tests the cable for ability to carry data at speed - I do remember it only tests to around gigabit speeds - and on modern 10g networks, it is beyond its capabilities.  My main complaint in using it in installs is that just before the end of the test, the remote probe has to be attached to the far end, then the tester triggered - the end probe can't be done early in the test.  In reality, it becomes a two-man tester.
That being said, it does give a measured indication of the cable/connection quality and speed.  How that translates to being able to carry AES50 signaling is another issue altogether.
