I use an acrylic paint (white) designed for fabric.  I use those sponge brushes to paint/blot it over my stencils.  If you are going to use a roller, I would think the lowest nap possible would be the best choice.  The "higher" the nap, the more textured the surface should be for the application.  Flat surfaces, should use minimal nap rollers.

Take a look at the manufacture's website for a "support" link.  They should have a list of authorized repair centers; if not, you may need to contact them to see if there's a repair center near you.

I managed to get to hear and use the RCF HD10a mkV this past couple of weeks and compared them to the Alto TS210’s. I was really surprised to see how small the RCF’s were. The cabinet is actually smaller than the Alto’s and it’s made of a harder material that I would expect to handle knocks and scrapes better. The RCF’s are a definite step up from the Alto’s in clarity, depth of bass and output. I also compared them to my DXR15’s and ignoring the extended depth of bass of the 15”s. The RCF had noticeably more mid range punch and vocals really leapt out. Vocals sounded like they had a veil over them on the DXR’s by comparison. The dispersion on the the Yamahas seemed to be wider and more open than the HD10a’s. The highs on the DXR’s had a little more air and detail than the RCF’s and I would have preferred if the HD10a’s had this. If the HD10’s had a little more hd detail they would be perfect for my requirements. The DXR’s go a little louder aswell.

The newer Alto’s have a larger voice coil for the hf compression driver and I would be keen to hear how they compare to the 1” on the RCF. They also have a fraction higher max spl and bass extension on paper but how this translates into real world performance remains to be heard.

I paid a company to do my stencils.   They used a pen plotter with a knife in it to cut the stencils

Hi,

I’m interested in buying a pair of RCF subs and I’m wondering if anyone has had any experience with both the mk2 and mk3 702 or 905 subs?
The new mk3 subs have their new Bass Motion limiter dsp which allows a little extra depth of bass and increases the headroom of the sub.
The new 702as mk3 are a little bigger and 3kg heavier than the older mk2 at 21kg and the new 905as mk3 are 4kg lighter at 26kg.

Has anyone heard both the mk2 and mk3 RCF subs? Is there anyone difference in sound or performance?

Rattlecan of Tremclad White?
not fancy, but has always worked for me.
Chris.

Thanks Chris but a rattle can has always been a no go for me.  Fuzzy edges from overspray because you can't tack the stencil down well enough to prevent the overspray.

I want to roll the paint on and I thing I want to use a solid roller.

I have stencils and am going to pick up the rollers and paint to label some ATA cases.

Would you use a flat brayer style roller or a nappy one?

What kind of paint or stencil ink do you recommend ?

Thanks as always

Subscribed.

I picked up a roll of single sided 12" or so wide plastic sheet material to make some stencils with for cases.  Going to cut them out on the laser.  Haven't done it yet.

So, interested in your solution Scott.

Which Shure Omnis are you using?

I think they are Twinplex. TL47 maybe? I don’t touch them, the A2s do, I’m upstairs in the control room. They are on Axient digital transmitters. We have a mix of the smaller lav xmitters as well as the larger, 8 of each, with each also have a HH. That’s been enough so far. The trick is when we need all 16 RF mics and also a few codecs as well as video and audio playback. In the control room I only have a 16 fader console, although it does have 60 pages of faders. In the upgrade that will start in January we’ll be upgrading to the 32 fader version. Also renovating the whole auditorium, new sound system, new seats, new video wall replacing projection. Left/Right PA going full immersive, all Meyer.

Sonically they are very similar in the PA. Price not a huge factor, we are a very solvent corporation. Clips and accessories are nicer.
