Title: Stands for Meyer UPQ
Post by: Sasha Marine on May 14, 2019, 09:50:58 PM
Anyone have suggestions on suitable stands for Meyer UPQ speakers?

I have been using Ultimate TS99B and they are fine but still a bit wobbly for my liking.

They weigh 110lbs, and sit nice and flat on the Ultimate stand I just want to see if there is something else that will put my mind at ease with them up on stands.

Thanks!

My tops are 85+lbs. I've tried several light weight stands. They get a little scary when raised to height.

I have the ST132 that I use for lighting. They are great but are a beast to lug around. Even when lowered all the way, they are too tall to lift speakers on to.

I bought a pare of these https://trusst.com/products/ct-cs30/ a while back and like them a lot.

When I'm setting up myself, I often lay my speakers on their face, insert the stand in the pole socket and raise the whole thing up. I can easily do it by myself. Plus these stand come in handy for other set ups.
