Title: Socapex pinout
Post by: Bill Fuss on July 28, 2006, 05:42:22 PM
Hi all. I've been lurking here for a little while, and I finally have a question I think is worthy. I'm in the process of wiring our new racks and I'm going to parallel a 19 pin soca, ep6 (x2), and nl8 (x2). Is there any standard as to patching these things up or is it just user preference, obviously the breakouts have to line up right. Here is my current line of thinking.
soca 1/#1nl8 1-/#1ep6 n/c,
soca 2/#1nl8 1+/#1ep6 n/c,
soca 3/#1nl8 2-/#1ep6 1,
soca 4/#1nl8 2+/#1ep6 2, etc,etc.
Psw and Google searches did not yield much for me, so any info would help. I,m basically trying to get them to be compatible with other companies in the area, maybe I should just ask them what they do? But surely there must be some sort of general wiring scheme for this. Thanks for any input. Bill Fuss

They make off the shelf socapex to NL8 breakouts.
