Title: EM Acoustics
Post by: Mike Flex on January 15, 2005, 02:11:10 PM
Anyone used EM's wedges or small FOH speakers? Their claim is that the passive networks they use are as good as bi-amping. Any info from the field would be appreciated before I buy!

Without wanting to sound too much like an excited child, EM Acoustics wedges are fantastic. We have bought 8 of the passive M-12's and intend to buy more along with some of the M-15's.

Their response is flatter than a Meyer UPA-1P, are very accurate and increadably loud.  The cabinet is well designed and has multiple in/out plates on it.

We have also used some of their smaller speakers in installations and are very happy with them.  I believe you will find nothing better for the price.
