Title: Preset Palette II Keyboard
Post by: tim.j.phillips on March 22, 2011, 05:30:59 PM
Hey guys:
Our theater has a preset Palette II control surface and the keyboard that was installed with it is one of those micro keyboards designed with a low footprint so all the keys are bunched together, no back light, no lit keys etc, not a good keyboard for working during either tech week or a run of the show.  I know if things go smoothly enough you should never have to touch anything but the go button during runs but during tech week when we are running in black its hard to see which keys we are pressing and with those of us with fingers bigger then a 3 year olds, pressing multiple keys as well.

I wanted to know if there was a standard keyboard(s) that a lot of people use/work well.  I know for standard computers, saitek makes some nice ones that are relatively inexpensive but I do not know if this console only works with certain keyboards.

Thanks
