Title: Epson WiFi
Post by: Bob Cap on October 11, 2015, 02:19:26 PM
Any one using Epson video projectors with built in WiFi?

Specifically can you use multiple projectors with one laptop connected to a router/access point?

Thanks

According to our Epson rep, their Network Projection app will connect to up to 4 projectors. I have not tried it, but this is from the horse's mouth, so to speak. Sometime over the next few days, I'll see if we can break someone loose to test it.

Glen,

Thanks for the response. Epson said I could go to four projectors...

I needed three. Choppiest video I have ever seen.

They are going back. WiFi does not have the bandwidth for this yet...

A total waste of time. Including the three hours it took to set them up to work...

This has been my experience with most wireless video projection. We get this request many times a month on our campus, and I generally ask people, "1) How much time do you want to spend downloading apps and trying to get this to work? 2) No matter what the answer is you just gave me, an HDMI cable can be connected twice as fast, and will work."  ;D

Sorry to hear it was a bust. Someday....

I've seen it work with a dedicated hidden router but only for slideshow powerpoint presentation, not for hd video.
