Title: Suggestions for pavilion ceiling?
Post by: Al Limberg on June 21, 2004, 10:00:14 PM
Hi all,
A small but growing festival that I provide for has built a pavilion this year.  It sits in a natural 'bowl' with the stage being a concrete slab about 16' deep and 32' wide.  The front lip sits about 2' above grade and extends into a small bluff so the back has about a 3 1/2' wall coming up to nee the hill behind it.  The roof is a typical shed stle with the back low, the front high and a small 'eyebrow' across the front.  The inside of the roof is currently exposed rafters and 'x' braces.  They would like to add a ceiling, mainly to prevent birds from nesting but they would rather not adversely affect the acoustics, such as they are.   Any suggestions??

TIA,

Al
