Title: Godsmack FOH
Post by: Steve Litcher on June 11, 2019, 01:40:55 AM
Anyone have any insight as to what Godsmack is touring with, in terms of FOH console and main hangs? Saw them recently and really liked their sound. I didn’t have a chance to wander around and investigate.

Erik Rogers is currently at FOH.  He posted a rig rundown on Instagram about a week ago.  Desk is a ProX (https://www.instagram.com/p/ByPmsn5BGk4/), outboard rack (https://www.instagram.com/p/ByPnipdBKNI/) includes Distressors, D-Two, Bricasti M7s, and a Galileo Galaxy for PA drive.

I believe for the current Europe run they're on PA du jour, but stateside it's a Meyer Sound LEO rig from UltraSound.

It should be noted that Godsmack's long-time FOH engineer Scott Tkachuk is battling kidney failure (https://www.godsmack.com/latest-news/2019/4/30/call-to-action-for-godsmacks-sound-engineer-scott-tkachuk) due to chemo treatments from beating cancer a few years ago and is searching for a donor.

Thanks Brian! Really good info and much appreciated.

Horrible news about Scott; Sully has been posting messages and info on his personal feeds. I sure do hope he can beat the failure.
