Title: iSemcon EMX-7150 mics
Post by: Kent Clasen on November 24, 2018, 01:00:41 PM
Anyone use these mics or have other recommendations? I don’t need LAB quality precision but having 4 matched mics would be helpful for relative differences when placed around the room. Using with a Roland Octa-pre and Smaart.

I have one and like it a lot because it can stand high dB, allowing closer distances to speakers when trying to keep reflections out.

It gives me repeatable results...I trust (hope) it's accurate after applying the calibration files...it's the only 'better' mic i have, so nothing to compare to...

I have 3. They are perfectly acceptable. I also have an Earthworks M30 but I rarely take it out as the7150's work fine.
