Title: Elation Scene Setter 24 Dead..

I have an Elation Scene Setter 24 that doesn't power up. It's not the fuse or the power supply. Is it worth putting in the shop?

Hi Kemper, it’s really a question of what it’s worth to you.  It’s an extremely dated board that’s been on the market since before LED lights and intelligent fixtures were commonplace.  What kind of a system are you controlling with it?  If you’ve ruled out the simple things then I’d vote to just replace it and/or upgrade.  Good luck!

It runs a few LED pars. It works well enough for my shows. A new one is now $300. I found a clean used one for $95. Tech bench charges are $60 for the first hour. I think I just talked myself into the used one
