I have the DJI set for other purposes, not sure I'd be plugging them into PA or trying to use them in a venue. {...}

For a non-audience-facing application like a talkback mic it'd probably fine, just as long as the OP doesn't expect to use it much after the house opens. I was going to suggest an Xvive plug-on transmitter (also 2.4 GHz) because it's cheap, it won't interfere with anything show-critical (assuming the tablet is running 5GHz Wi-Fi, anyway), and because it fails to silent (which—for a talkback mic—means that the absolute-worst-case scenario is going to be some vigorous arm-waving and shouting).

I have cleaned the nozzle and the hoses pre/post heat exchanger as per their maintenance manual. I will look into the rebuilt kits.

Does anyone have a good idea for locking the height on a mic stand and stopping it from rotating?
For an example I have drum kits with over head stands used for a 10 month season show. They need to be readjusted once in awhile.
I'm using tape to keep them from moving to much.
The drums are on moving stages so there's some vibrations in play.

I use mostly K&M booms stands. Yearly maintenance is cleaning all the clutches with rubbing alcohol.
Chris.

Update on my third failure across two DI Pros, one month later:

I contacted Radial and had a prompt, and concerned, response including:

"So in order to ensure that you’re taken care of, we’re going to go ahead and arrange to have a brand new, factory sealed ProDI sent out to you through our UK distributor Polar. They will also arrange to issue a return label to you so that we can get your original ProDI back to them so that we can jointly take a further look at what went wrong. This will of course all be done at no cost to you."

All very good, you might think.  But then it all falls down.  Repeated emails, cancelled RMAs, no new DI yet, and no returns label.

Maybe it's different in the US, but in the UK it stinks.

I'll update if ever this gets anywhere.

But it's hard to see any reason why I'd buy Radial again.  Products made of chocolate and end to end customer service that makes Music Group look capable.

With this information I'd be blaming the UK importer/distributor for failing to serve customers.  To you, it's the same result but from a different actor.

I typically run shows from Mixing Station, controlling my X32 Rack on stage. I'm looking for a way to plug into the talkback XLR jack on the mixer on stage with a wireless mic that doesn't cost a fortune, since audio quality isn't really important here. Any suggestions?

I use this - Phenyx Pro Wireless Microphone System, Dual Mic Set with Handheld/Bodypack/Lapel Mics,2x100 UHF Channels,328ft Range (PTU-71-1H1B).
$149 on Amazon
The receiver sits in the same rack as my M32C along with a cheap stereo IEM transmitter so talkback and solo are always plugged in. I just throw batteries in the mic and IEM receiver and I'm set.
It comes with a handheld, lapel and headset and you can use the handheld and 1 of the other 2 at the same time on 2 different channels. That comes in handy when I have an M-Cee bc I can give them the handheld and still have a talkback.
I have been surprised with the range - had a commedian walking around a festival once at least 250' from the stage with no dropouts.
It's no SM58 or e945 but it actually sounds decent at least for speaking.

Greetings !
I am new and know almost nothing about stage lighting (other that it is cool)
I would like to get one unit to run all (10) lights.
What exactly do I need ???
If you're really brand new to stage lighting then I recommend that you spend some time on YouTube to learn about the basic concepts.  One channel that I like for this is called Learn Stage Lighting.  He has dozens of playlists on a wide range of lighting topics including a DMX 101 playlist as well as some for beginning lighting for DJs or Bands.

I use this as an emcee mic.  Works really well.

I have the hand-held and receiver.

I can take more pictures Sunday after my shows. I'm only gonna use two of them for Friday for a country show with two EAW sb600e.
These cabs did sit in a warehouse for years. I'll look into best way to remove the oxidation. And I'll keep this all in mind as the seller has 14 more that I eventually want.

Please use imgbb.com it does not have obnoxious ads.  Use the BBCODE option.  Post the BBCODE fragment that is generated in your message where you want the pic.

BBCODE is parsed by the forum software for you.
