Title: Update suggestion
Post by: Mac Kerr on October 07, 2009, 02:01:10 PM
It seems the common way to update a listing is to post a reply that lists each item as it is sold. Wouldn't it be simpler for the buyer if the update mentioned what was sold, but included a list of what is left so the interested party doesn't have to sift through all the updates to figure out what is left?

It would be real simple to do this by replying to your own original post and putting the word SOLD next to each sold item.

It would also be easy to update the pricing at the same time if you are getting desperate to sell.

Putting the word Sold in the subject line is the keyword to get the thread deleted because you have sold your items, or otherwise completed your transaction. It does not need to go in the subject line of an update that you do not want to trip the deletion bot.
