Title: Par can lamp bar spacing
Post by: Adam Ellsworth on March 23, 2008, 06:29:52 PM
I can't believe I can't find this anywhere... gotta be using the wrong search terms.

What are the dimensions of 6-fixture lamp bars / par bars? Specifically, the spacing from center to center for the par cans, and then the overall pipe length? (Looks like they come in 88" and 116" varieties?) Yeah, I can divide it out, but I'm not sure on spacing between cans and bar edges, so...

Anybody (else) in the shop with a tape measure on an Easter Sunday? Smile I want to be consistent with what works and if it ever DID have to end up in a PRT-type truss it would be great if it fit.

Thanks!
-Adam

Some CADs here (if you don't mind metric)

Thanks, Tony! Unfortunately, the ZIP file of CAD's is empty for the light bars... I did more Googles along those lines; no luck. Applied has a page on them too, but no useful specs or scale images there either.

Oh, fantastic! Thank you so much for putting those up here! Looks like 15" spacing. Now I just need to widen my truck by 4 inches and everything will stagger-fit great...
