Happy new year to all contributing to this forum, may we continue to share knowledge and experiences on the forum.
I need some amplifiers for sub and top duties. I am thinkling of the above mentioned units. I can can get them all almost at the same price (export pricing).
Which one is best suited for the rigors of a rental business ?
Any big difference in the way they sound when pushing: subs (<80hz)or Top (>80hz)?

Are you providing dry rentals to customers? If so, the complexity of the PLD4.5 might be a turn off. It takes a bit to learn how to use it, and if your client decides to mess with the settings, you'll end up with a ton of support calls. Once you know how to use the features of the amp, it's great, but I'd be very reluctant to rent mine out to a newbie.

You aren't quite comparing apples to apples. The PLD is the same price as the others but has four channels and DSP. The XTI-6002 only has two channels with DSP, and the PL380 is two channels with no DSP. Even though the costs are similar per amp, per channel + dsp they are quite different.
FWIW I just heard a system with a CXD-Q (same as PLD in an install version) running column speakers and a TH-Mini and it sounded good. There were a few threads on here about problems in the early production but QSC seems to have corrected the early issues. No question on the PL380, either - it's about as good as it gets.

I vote for the XTI6002... I had 2 and loved them with my SRX system. Plenty of clean power and very lightweight.

Sub duty aside you may be best to think through your power situation as you consider a Crown XTI amplifier.
First of all, I use Crown power amps for my rigs (16 assorted amps) included in my inventory there are four XTI4000 amplifiers. I have been satisfied with all of the units' performance until an incident this past September.
I was providing the sound for an outdoor festival that was powered by a generator. Upon powering up the stage the XTI amp in my rig would go into fault and thus not power up. All of my other Crown amps (Itech, XS, K2) had no issues. I had to run a 100' extension cord to wall power for the amp to run. If the rig was totally dependent on generator power, I would had to switch-out the rack to one that did not include the XTI.
I called crown asked about the issue and was told that the XTI series has a particular type of power reserve scheme that is different from all of crown's other lines and the newer XTI line has the same schematic. Mind you, I have used that same rack with generators of many makes in the past and had no issues.
All of the above being said, I would stay away from the XTI series if purchasing additional amplifiers as I need a more "power friendly" unit. If you like crown, go for an Itech....

The XTI6002 is a completely different beast then the rest of the XTI family. It uses iTech circuitry unlike the rest of the XTI amp line. I have used my iTechs and XTIs many times with not the best power and have never had an issue. The XTI6002 is a great amplifier and has been reliable over the years of ownership. You can call Crown and they will verify the differences between the 6002 and the rest of the line, unfortunately they never documented this in the manual or advertising.

I vote for QSC RMX2450 amps, since you don't have to lift them. Stereo for tops, bridged for subs. Bullet proof and sound good. - Mike

You can tell that they're quite a bit longer than the other three models. From what I have heard the 6002 is much closer to an iTech than an XTi.
I had a 4000 with the early run ribbon cable problem that soured my XTi experience. I found the DSP to be lacking as well - especially the limiter. I understand that the 002 models have a more advanced DSP function. I replaced my XTis with an external DSP and QSC PL3 series amps and have been happy since.
