Is there a date set for this? |

Hello Peter, I think you have to bring your own date... Seriously, it sounds like fun and would love to attend again this year. Hammer |

Less brownies this year Charlie. I loved them, and thank your lady for them. But I'm still trying to work off the tonnage. |

I've got midwest area one offs just about every weekend the next two months. If the timing and locations work out I'd be more than happy to make a promoter's jaw drop and throw you all on the list to come hang at a show that night. |

I've got Orbit Shifters now. Love to hear them next to SRX728's (I'll bet I'm not the only one) Anyone got TH115's/TH118's? |

I should be able to make it with the exception of a couple of dates in November. Tom-I'll see about a vege tray. |

Then brownies are okay, right? ;>) I could bring one of the new "HAL 9000" wedges(Halliburton-Arnott-List). Apologies to Arthur C. Clarke, RIP I am one of the guilty parties wrt name tags, and on top of that, showing up after the meeting started. I will vote for name tags too. |

Hi Stop, I can’t take it, cheesecake, bbq, loudspeakers and then old doctor Firesign and a distressing number familiar with their logic. But Quidmulbug and Plano, consternation turned to elucidation! Anyway, if mfr’s are welcome around the food table, I would like to come, I live up this way, sounds like fun. Best, Tom Danley "You can't get there from here" |

I think I would like to take more time and plan a better event. Im thinking January. I would think that most people are slow that time of year. And will soon be gearing up for the spring. Thoughts at this point. Wedge Shoot Out Console Shoot Out SMAART Discussion / Training Vocal Mic Shoot Out Single Stack PA Shoot Out Line Array Shoot Out Live Band Showcase Name Tags Same Location Sign In Sheet 1 Day event (I can only get the Venue on Sundays for free) Unless we get funding some how or charge admission I would like to get FOH or PSW magazine to do a write up on the event if anyone has a connection please offer your assistance. |
Tom Reid wrote on Tue, 26 October 2010 11:41
Brian hosted this event last year. He's got the connection at the Raddison. I don't speak for Brian, but I'd enjoy the chance to meet you and listen to you speak about anything. You're more than welcome to split a cow with me and Charlie (hey Charlie, can Tom come too?). Really this crowd is all about improving our individual skill sets. And not about one particular product. |
Charlie Zureki wrote on Tue, 26 October 2010 12:13
Hey Tom-s! I wouldn't want to exclude anyone from joining us for cow... So, I'll work on a way to try and provide for anyone that wishes to also partake. Cheers, Hammer |

Hey Tim, I would love to go. What do you think about getting some folks together and go in a van?? OR you gonna fly? Anybody else from the KC area interested? |
Bob Healey wrote on Tue, 26 October 2010 18:11
I would be very interested depending on the date! I ride the Southwest Chief (Amtrak) a lot but there doesn't seem to be a good way to get from Chicago to the location in Indiana without a car. |
Tom Reid wrote on Wed, 27 October 2010 12:30
Bob, the South Shore runs from MCormick or Millineum Station to Miller. When we get times and dates we could work out a shuttle from the Raddison to Miller it's about 15 min each way. |

I have (2) VRX 918SP and (2) VRX 932LAP that I can bring if needed. I see from the pictures in last years event you had a VRX set up. If you need a powered version, I can bring it along. - Scott |

Tom, How about a longer event? If I am going to drive out I might as well stay a few days! |
Tom Reid wrote on Mon, 15 November 2010 13:13
The event is created and held by Brian and his connections to the venue. Brian returns labor and services to the venue in exchange. Anything more than one day is taking money out of a fellow labsters pocket. I would enjoy doing more than one day. I'm sure a lot of us would. But there's always that money issue. |

I'm waiting on the venue for answer on the date. It should be the 2nd or 3rd Sunday in Jan. |
