Would anyone happen to know where I might be able to rent a circular front projection screen? Preferably in the 12' diameter range?
Milwaukee (Chicago) area would also be preferable.
Thanks!!

Rent a circular truss and use stretch screen material.

Would you happen to have a suggestion on the material (aside custom ordering a surface)?

White Spandex, or talk to a professional AV supplier about what they use.

+1 for Mac's suggestions.
If you have a copy of "The Automated Lighting Programmer's Handbook" by Brad Schiller, Go to pages 187, 189 and 191, They are using 2 large Circular Trusses as the frame for the projection screens and also hanging 6 moving fixtures from each truss.

I have never seen a round screen that was not stretch screen material on a circular truss. I have seen lots of circular projection screens.

Same here... We rent lace and grommet screens from Screenworks a lot, and VER carries them as well. I was hoping that they had circular surfaces available as well, but they don't.
I'm looking into using just a stretched fabric, but our client really wants an actual projection surface, not fabric or spandex.
