Title: What are good insurance companies for live event production / audio and staging?
Post by: Paul Stallion on April 15, 2013, 07:33:33 PM
Hi, I co-own a live event production company, we primarily focus on audio production and work with companies which provide staging and lighting. Our events have been getting larger with greater turnout. I'd like to know what insurance companies can cover large events, including equipment, personal and property damage, act of god weather, etc. I've asked this several times to my farmers agent, and he can't seem to put anything together. Please, if you are in the same line of work, what are some good options?

Hi Paul,

I work with Music Pro (Laura Donelan) and though I've not had to make a claim, they have been very good to work with. I don't know if they support events as large as you're doing, but I think they might. Act of God and weather might be tough with anyone, but I'm sure Laura could give you better advice than I can.

Best regards,
Bob
