I apologize if this has already been posted and I missed it.
Seems interesting-but expensive.

But I REALLY want one of these.... Think of the cable runs you would save.

I've thought about atomic powered speakers, but there's always this possibility....

Ivan..Ivan...Ivan...I'm shocked :o you fell for this one ;D

I think Ivan has one and let it slip. Didn't you sign the NDA on that technology? :)

I mean... It does work. It's just insanely inefficient. I mean you'd probably need tens of millions of amps worth of power at the source, to deliver that 750 amps worth of power to the arrays.
The technology is prolific now, used to charge your phone even! ;)

Having just watched a documentary on quantum mechanics, anything is possible!
We have a venue at a local university called the Quantum Nano Centre.
We can do gigs that take no power, are infinitely small, happen in 2 places at once and are starting or stopping at the same time. ;D ;D

Then they must be using these PK Sound cabinets:

And here's the guy who designed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ac7G7xOG2Ag

...was that the life of Schrodinger's cat?

Here's how Nikola Tesla did it. I'm doing a big show in two weeks and could really use something like this.

Actually-and truthfully, I had some ideas for products years before they were ever in production.
I did not pursue my ideas however. and I realize why my basic ideas would not work, but the "idea" was valid.
Idea 1: A digital snake that would be multiplexed and sent over infra red. I felt that the smoke in a bar would be an issue with the signals.
Idea 2: More efficient amplifier. I felt that if you could turn on and off the incoming signal fast enough (still being analog-just turning on and off), it would be off half of the time. This way it would run cooler, allow more time for the power supply to recharge etc.
Idea 3: Line array (this was in the mid 90s). When I was rebuilding my system I thought about having the cabinets so I could vertically stack them and each of the 3 way elements would be in a vertical line. I was a fan of vertically stacking horns and mids since the early 80s.
The reason I did not do it was for the smaller jobs it would be hard to stack up the cabinets high enough (for the money I was being paid). Of course I would have been using 60* vertical horns and all front loaded lows and mids, so the interference would be worse than the current lines.
But that is the story of my life-not pursing ideas the way I should. Oh well. Others will figure it out later.

I missed this one from Monoprice yesterday. Not only does it use anti-gravity technology, it can support infinite weight, etc...

AAAND... patrons never set their beers on the subs... providers get paid on time and in full... band engineers know what they are doing and defer to your local experience... the drums are always on key (and never too loud).... there's never feedback... the power is always adequate and wired properly... the rigging is safe and sound...
