Title: Anyone familiar with Cooper Industries LCR8A DMX lights?
Post by: Mike McGuire on April 17, 2014, 08:17:08 PM
We have an installation where Cooper Industries LCR8A DMX lights were used for house lighting and wired up by the electricians.  Our trouble is getting DMX to talk to these lights and wondering if anyone on these boards has experience with them?  We also can't seem to figure out the address of these lights since there is no way to set them.  They are physically hardwired lights, driver to driver, and the home runs land at our DMX controller.  Our DMX controller is a Jands Vista M1.

So far we've attempted to verify that wiring is correct and we suspect the default address is around the 101-108 value since 1 of the house lights responds by quickly dimming on and off when we turn up intensity to full with generic dimmer fixtures in Vista set with address 101 - 108.

You probably need to address them with RDM.

This fixture isn't that advanced.

Can you verify the model number on the actual LED driver?
