Title: "Unfollow" a thread?
Post by: Jonathan Johnson on January 30, 2014, 06:02:28 PM
Sometimes I comment on a thread, then the thread goes on and on and on and I get sick of seeing it show up in my "new replies" list.

Is there a way to unfollow a thread once you've posted in it?

Oops, looks like I missed this post. Did you try clicking the unnotify button at the top or bottom of the thread? If you clicked "notify" to alert you to new replies, clicking "unnotify" should eliminate the new replies alert.

I think I need to clarify. I'm not referring to notification (where I get an alert in my email) but where the thread shows up in the "new replies" list.

Hmm, I'll check into it.

It appears to be a global setting: you can turn on or off notifications when you post or reply to a topic, but this is for all topics, not on a topic-specific level. If turned on, you will receive notifications according to your profile settings for all threads in which you've posted. If turned off, you will not receive any.
