Title: EASE Focus and WINE ?

Has anyone here had success installing EASE focus on a Mac under WINE?

WINE is not the way you want to go.  Just run windows in a VM on Mac OS.  Soon they will move to the next big thing "containers" which are OS independent.  Kind of what Java promised with a hardware abstraction layer.  If you are a geek go research "Docker Containers"

WINE has been partially successful for my needs; for anything not too "complicated".

If you are running WINE, then you should be able to download/install Oracle's Virtual Box.  I use Virtual Box (on K-Ubuntu) to run a Winblows 10 image for Audio Architect, and Presonus software.  It's a lot easier to setup a VM than to fight with WINE.

+10, WINE is old unreliable tech.  VM's are simple and convenient.  They were awesome a decade ago (and still are).

Hold on to your hats because the next new big thing is called containers Docker and Red Hat's Kubernetes are the big players in this space.  Containers are OS/CPU agnostic structures for distributing software and services.

Hey Guys. Thanks for the responses. I’ve been running offline editors for both Avid and Digico under WINE. I only needed EASE Focus for a little side project and ended up loading it on an old Windows machine - it worked fine but was SLOW!
