Title: Shure UA820 antenna with sennheiser ew300 iem g3 system / UA221 splitter
Post by: Nick Andrews on July 31, 2018, 06:21:39 PM
Hi guys,

I have two questions,

I have a handful of extra shure UA820 omni 1/2 wave antennas from my QLXD systems. They are the g50 which is 470-534 freq range, the sennheiser ew300 g3 iem system i'm planning to try this with is the a1 band which is 470-516 freq range.

Will this antenna work correctly for this purpose?

In addition, I plan to combine two ew300 g3 iem units with the shure Ua221 splitter to share one single antenna.

I appreciate any insight here in case I am overlooking something.

thanks!

Nick -

The UA820 antennas will work fine.
As for the UA221, it may work (not the best solution) but there may be a better one out there that someone else can recommend.
