One of my new customers has an event room with a 6' x 8' manual pull down screen. They ask me for a projector to use as part of their rentals for events.
There is a floor outlet 20-25' foot from the screen, so I am guessing a portable projector with a PC or MAC video connection and if available the ability to use different media for file sources, it will need to project from 20-25' feet to a 6' x 8' screen?
When the customer called I told them that I don't really sell projectors, but I would post something here and get some recommendations.
Any help will be appreciated.

20' puts you in mild long-throw lens range. Most projectors need about 1.5 x the horizontal screen size for throw distance, so ideally you'd be at about 12' away for a standard off the shelf projector.
That's not a very big screen, so should be relatively easy to drive - the current crop of 4500 lumen projectors are cheap and would look really good at that size even in fairly bright light. There's probably no need for full HD; a 1280x800 projector looks good from typical viewing distances.

Do you have a recommended manufacture and series or model?

I have no personal experience with this model, so don't consider this an endorsement, but this model seems to fit your needs:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1246574-REG/panasonic_pt_fw530u_pt_fz570_series_wxga_4500.html
It's a little more expensive than some because it has a fairly big zoom range, but it should cover your throw distance.
If you can put the projector closer to the screen, this would work:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1160493-REG/panasonic_pt_vw350u_pt_vw350_lcd_projector.html
or for only a small price increase, here's the 1080P version of the above:
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1336178-REG/panasonic_pt_vz470u_4400_lumens_wuxga_lcd.html
Panasonic projectors are usually a safe bet.

Thanks Tom.
+1 to Tom's recommendations. Also look at the Epson Powerlite series. I've installed and used a couple over the past 10 years and they've been workhorses without incident.
