All of them?
If it's only a few you could use screen shots or something.

copy and paste?

I don't see any options to download the private messages for offline storage.

I did the Copy & Paste into a Word Document with saving. I did edit the text a little for better viewing.

The Hyper links do work still with holding down ctrl and clicking them.

A screen shot of a saved PM in Word.
Dave D., hopefully this ok to post as I removed the phone #, if not, I'll take it out.

EDIT: Didn't make the call and not making the show, as I'm not feeling quite well the past few days.

John,

Right-click and save as an html document. The saved file will look exactly like the actual post. Even offline. Kinda clunky but it will let you archive your messages.

Bummer is it's only one post/message at a time. Another gotcha is to be sure and renumber them as you save..........seems my machine wants to save every file as 5684.htm.

John,

Hopefully you are using FireFox. Get the free plug in called "down them all". This is a very neat downloader. When you have installed it, go to your PM page of Sent/Drafts etc that you want to copy. Then in PC land, right click on open space on the page and select "Down them all". A window like the one below will appear.

index.php/fa/13275/0/

Select the destination folder("Save files in"). Then whatever renaming mask you want. Next use the additional filter as shown. If you hover over the subject and author etc on your PM page you will see that /pmv/ is only in the subject, ie that is the link you would click to view each message. Now you can click on "Start" and download the lot in one go. Don't forget to go to each page of messages by clicking at the bottom of the PM list. I only have 2 pages of messages to save, so it took me 30 seconds.

Hope this helps.

Iain.
