 Hello to all who have never seen but heard about the ET Live event that takes place at LDI.  Here are some pictures and the descriptions provided to the vistors.  I only took pictures of the stages because the consoles always had crowds around them and I felt obligated that I would have had to ask everyone's permission to be in the picture.  Hope you enjoy


STAGE A d&b audio technik, Digidesign
Mid/large line array system with subwoofers
16 x j8 80 degree horizontal line array (8 per side)
4 x J12 120 degree line array (2 per side)
10 x J-Sub cardioid subwoofers (deployed as ground stack horizontal subwoofer array).
Digidesign-Venue console directly driving 20 x d&b D12 power amplifiers.
AES/EBU digital audio signal path from console to power amp inputs

STAGE B  EAW, Lab.gruppen,Link, Shure
Two systems (discrete): ultra compact line array system and small line array system.
System 1: 24 x new NTL720 110 degree self-powered horizontal line array (12 per side)
System 2: 24 x KF730 110 degree horizontal line array (12per side) with 4 x KF730 high Q line array modules (2 per side)
16 x SB1002 dual-18 flyable subwoofers (8 per side)
Lab.gruppen FP+series amplification for all non powered loudspeakers.
UX 8800 dual-mode digital processors with Guness Focusing (Guness focusing onboard NTL 720)
UMX.96 digital console, dual EAW microwedge monitors at FOH, Smaart v.6 tuning/analysis.  Link cable digital audio signal path, EAW U-net for control, routing and signal.

STAGE C  A-Line Acoustics, Innovason, RapcoHorizon R&M Hoist
System 1: Medium format line array system, the AL 10 has two 10" mid woofers and a 1.4" HF driver, 12 cabinets per side.  All components are B & C Neodymium Hybrid active powered line array system with alternatinf powered and unpowered cabinets.  Preset DSP on board running active two-way.  High efficiency B & O ICE power amplifiers, powered by three twenty amp circuits per array.
Patented EZAL rigging, array curve can be changed under load flown or ground stacked.
System 2: EMMA 806A Line Array system with 8 x 6.5" mids and 8 x 6.5" ribbons per system.  Two cabinets per side stacked.  Preset DSP onboard running active two-way.
Subwoofer: A-Line Acoustics LS218A dual 18" speaker powered subwoofer.
Innovason Sy80 console, transmitting Etehersound over a Light Viper fiber snake.  No External speaker processing used.

But...how do you pick them up since the handle is now gone?

Overall most of the systems were driven too loud to enjoy!  There were peaks of 115 that I had seen and hurt!  This was about the norm.
