DMX House Lighting
« on: November 09, 2007, 12:44:37 PM »

We have 4 manual dimmers controlling 4 sets of lights and 3 switches each with 2 recessed cans on them.  I would like to have these DMX controlled.  What is the best way to do this?  Where should I look for the appropriate installed dimmers? Each dimmer would need to support around 1000W.

So you want architectural dimmers and control boxes?
What's the budget?

I guess.  I don't know what they are called.  Low budget.

Something like the Lightronics AT-402 looks like it may work.  Any comments?

Looks good to me.
Any of their remote stations should work, but I think you will need an override switch of some kind when they are being controlled by the lighting desk versus the panel.
