Accuspot 300's usable/reliable/look good?
« on: August 14, 2007, 10:35:46 am »

I am in the market for some fairly inexpensive and lightweight 250watt discharge lights for local shows and such.  The Accuspot300's caught my eye.  It appears to have a MSD250/2 bulb like my old Martin 250's had, could I expect similar performance in output level? The local GC around here only carry the DJ level stuff, no discharge units, can't go and look for myself.

Anyone using these, anything good or bad to say about them?

Paul,
I have sold quiet a few of these and everyone loves them for their price.  I own 4 of the 1st or 2nd generation accuspot 250's and have yet to have to repair anything ( i usually rent these to schools and some other clints who can not afford bigger stuff)  long as you are happy with the feature set you will be happy with these for the cost

They are a very good cost-effective fixture, a step up from the AccuSpot250's, but not quite on a level as the PowerSpot250.

As Chad suggested, look at the features to see if they will give you what you want. The build quality is fine.
