Post count and titles
« on: August 09, 2007, 02:38:13 pm »

I have noticed that the titles that indicated your post count are rather derogatory and/or are not very audio centric. I would like to suggest changing them or removing them altogether. Things like "Has No Life" sound rather corny and juvenile to me. I thought that this was a place for professional sound engineers and the like. Perhaps if you make the place look more professional, new-comers would take it as such from the start. That is my opinion as a new-comer.

Thank you devs and mods for making it what it is and all of you sound pros for your great advice.

First, Walter, you need a sense of humor. Seriously (oxymoron alert).
Second, you've been around here for a month or so. Well, that's how long you've been registered. There are those of us that have been hanging out for over 10 years. As well as some of the very biggest and best names in the business. The place, in spite of the increased noise lately, has been drawing audio professionals for longer than that as well.

And frankly, "Has no life" just scratches the surface where my life is concerned... Laughing

It's all good, kick back and enjoy the place.
