I will leave others to give their opinions (if they have them), but you can see the data sheet here:

Discontinued, but good cabinets depending on what you need.

Thanks. Its for rock and roll application. what I was hoping to find out is how these compare to standard double 18s since I have no idea how this design works.
Efficiency/performance looks about the same as a standard reflex, Of course this Is looking at them with my limited knowledge of graphs?

depending on price, they may be a really decent buy

i've used them on numerous occasions and they're quite good for a smaller system, you need entirely too many of them to get anywhere in a larger rig though

Steven,

The EV Deltamax DMS-2181 will get loud above 50 HZ, and won’t do much below.
Their tuning is higher than many more recent low cabinets, although lots of “subs” don’t go any lower or louder.
The low “B” note on a 5 string bass is 31 HZ, low E on a four string bass is 40 HZ.

The cabinet is old, if you think it has enough LF extension for you, make sure that the speaker surrounds are not cracking. The EVX180A is a good speaker, but an expensive recone.
