70v Amplifier
« on: June 21, 2007, 01:56:19 PM »

I'm looking for a good 2ch amplifier with 70v outputs, minimum 60 watts per channel, and not over 1000 bucks.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

QSC ISA300Ti.  300w/channel @70v.  We've used a few of these in some installs.  Great results.  List price is $760, although you can find them for a couple hundres less on the street.

I'll second the ISA300
a lot of people overlook it because it's more power then they need, but at 2x300W it's cheaper than most companies' single 240W offerings.
also, the volume controls are on the back!

Thanks for your posts.  I knew the qsc amp existed, but knew nothing about its performance.  I have a TOA D901 mixer and looked at TOA's new 4ch 1U amp (just to keep it all in the family), but it appears to be too much amp for my needs.  Thanks for the info on the qsc.  I'll probably go that route.

Thanks.
