I wonder how many people beleive this?
« on: June 20, 2007, 01:40:07 PM »

This quote is on the Allen Organ Company Web Site-  Looks like Crown, Mackie, Peavey, and JBL are gonna go out of business now!

"Today's church musicians often need to be "quick-change artists", transforming worship spaces from traditional to contemporary settings. If you have already spent too many Sundays moving amplifiers and speakers in and out of your sanctuary, or who have never had the sound reinforcement your music deserves, Allen provides the perfect solution. Now, you can plug directly into the audio system of an Allen organ for full-range, multi-channel professional results. And, the Allen audio can be installed in out-of-sight locations, eliminating the "black-box clutter" that other sound systems create."

As many churches will buy into this as will buy into the Bose PAS (personal audio system), PAS' (Professional Audio Systems) bogus line array and the small number of other true charlatans that target the naivete of churches.

But sometimes it's hard not to fault the churches, as well.

When you worship the organ (as many churches appear to do), why not let it do all the work?

After all, what is good for the organ is good for the spoken word-is it not? Mad

It would be hard to explain the loss of your congregation because of an inadequate organ....

Wow....totally irresponsible on their part. Oddly enough, it even competes against their own "Pro Audio" services.
