Repair of GL-2200 in midwest?
« on: April 20, 2007, 08:19:52 PM »

I've got an Allen & Heath GL-2200 in need of repair in Sioux Falls, SD... (a few bad faders and missing phantom powers) I don't think I'll find anyone locally but would like to ship somewhere nearby like Minneapolis or Omaha perhaps. Ideally somewhere where I could get it done within a few weeks. Thanks for any tips.

I took my A & H mixer to Midwest Sound & Lighting in Omaha this winter. They gave her a thorough cleaning and now she runs like new! I think they were done in less than a week. Drew Jude is very knowledgeble and a nice guy too. You can check them out at Go to "Contact Us" for phone numbers.

Shipping a big mixer is rather expensive, so you may consider a road trip to Omaha. I'm about 150 miles out and timed the delivery when I had to go to Omaha on business.
