maybe others have already figured this out... you can get around the '1 attachment' limit (for image attachements anyway) by:
adding image 1
hit 'insert into message body'
copy the resulting code
--don't post the message yet --
remove the attachement
repeat with attachment 2, copying the resulting code again
repeat as needed. "insert into message body" uploads the file to the psw server; even after you remove the attachment, it persists on the server.

so the result looks something like this, for 5 images:

odds are, nobody really cares. but i thought i'd share what i learned just now!

I never knew that! I wonder how long the pics stay on the server though.

Waldo (Casey),

Is the above meant to actually show the images, as I don't see them? Can you show a post with the muli pics in it being done this way?
EDIT: Is this a post where you show the "work around".

The way I've found to put muli pics in a post was to make 1 "multi pic" pic using Paint. Open Paint, click on Image, then click on Attributes and set the Width & Height to accomadate how many pics I want to put to gether (normally over sized, then adjust the Attributes to make it as small as possible not cutting any of the pics off). Then click on Edit as use the "Past from...". Locate each pic, add them, then slide them around for the best look. When Done, click on File, then Save As (normally a JPEG) to where ever. If the file is too big, I'll open the "multi pic" pic in another program and reduce the resulution for better uplaoding. The end result turns out like the below. The pic size is 0.17MB

Well, i haven't visited this posting in a while. I didn't think anyone else would look at it!

scott: yes, the posting which you reference is an example of what i was getting at. although i should have thought of your method first. just make a big picture!

evan: the link scott listed is still intact 4 months later...so it's safe to say the image files stay on the server for perpetuity.

this topic seems so refreshing a few months later! currently i'm waist deep in php and sql code. our online ticket vendor has announced that they're going out of business...so i'm attempting to roll out our own in-house advance ticket solution. if i do it right, it will mean that we can keep the 'service charges' minimal (50% or less than the 'big boys') and still reap .50 -$1.00 per ticket. that really only means $2-3k per year for my venue -- not big bucks on the table -- but it just seems like the *right* thing to do...and i love a hacker challenge!

(still under the assumption that nobody really reads this forum)
