Hail to the Chief
« on: April 13, 2007, 08:32:57 PM »

It's certainly not the largest hailstone in history, but it's my submission for the "Dallas County Hailstone of 2007".

P.S. Sorry for the out-of-focus pic.

Nice hail stone but to be honest we have snow flakes bigger than that in the Northeast. Laughing

That's cool, Bob.  When you stay at my house I'll have a nice bag of concrete for you instead of a pillow.  They're both about the same size Laughing.

You don't have to make a claim on your auto insurance if one of those snowflakes hits your car.

For now NE has the biggest.  But this is one case where you don't want to be seeing the biggest.

We definitely don't get large hail stones around here but we did have a nice looking storm two springs ago.  Not exactly what you would expect here in the middle of the desert in one of the hottest places on earth.
