What's everyone doing to terminate multiple monitor jacks to one amp?

What's the difference between a Monitor engineer and FOH engineer?  Monitor engineers can do both.

We use one of 3 different ways-depending on the particualr situation.

1: Daisy chain all jacks on stage so only 1 cable ends up at the amp.

2: If there are only 2 runs, we put both runs under the binding posts-may require a little trimming of the strands.

3: Use a terminal strip that is jumpered together on one side and the different runs attach to the other side.  Then a run goes to the amp.

4: Another way is to use a patch bay to select which jacks on stage go to which monitor mix.  These are NL4's with two jacks on each amp output- paralleled at the patch bay jacks.

For every complicated question-there is a simple- easy to understand WRONG answer.

Can I have some more talent in the monitors--PLEASE?
