"Select All" in Private Messaging
« on: February 20, 2007, 03:15:39 AM »

Any way to add a "select all messages" feature to the Private Messaging?  My private message box filled up again and I went to delete the cruft, and it's a PITA to check each of the messages individually.   "Select All" then "Delete" would be faster.

Oh yeah, it filled up because I keep forgetting to empty the trash.  "Hey, I thought I deleted a thousand messages! So why does it say that there's no space?"  Oops.

Andy,
There is a select all button.
Its located toward the top of the page, right next to the subject bar.

Even with the select all, you have to go through pages and pages of old messages, and then I have to go through pages and pages of my sent messages, and then I have to go to the trash and confirm that when I said delete before, I actually meant, like, delete.

After you have deleted everything you want to, go to the message folder called "Trash" in the pull down menu where you access the various folders of messages like inbox and sent. Once you are in the trash folder hit "Empty Trash".
