Well if that someone was too dumb to simply call the person, or to impatient to wait for an answer I don't think I would want to do business with them either!
Oh, FWIW I use a Nextel / Motorola i530. It's Rugged as hell, very basic, and best of all I get it for free because my day job pays for it
I've put it through the ringer (haha no pun intended) and it still works fine. We drop them off of ladders at work, people I know have left them in their clothes and ran them through the washing machine, dropped them in puddles, and they still keep going. I keep my ringer on vibrate all the time and wear it clipped to my side on my belt. That way it doesn't ring at inappropriate times, and I can hear it when at a loud venue.
