Much of Sarcasm is denoted in voice inflection. Pretty hard to covey in the printed word. By your logic we should have punctuation at all.

What part of that needed vocal inflection? Anyone who can't take the time to ask a sensible question shouldn't expect me to take the time to figure out what he wants.
