Yorkville doesn't automatically make anyone who inquires a Dealer. I'd be sure there is some long term planning involved.

I believe the area your in has much to do with getting a dealership (if that's the correct term) also, as having dealers for the same product line only a few miles apart wouldn't make much sense.

I've dealt with becoming dealers with plenty of products. So I'm well schooled in that, ie opening orders, yearly sales requirements. I'm not trying to automaticaly become a dealer... Hell right now I'm just trying to make contact and get a reply.

As for a dealer close to me.... Go to the yorkville website and try and find a dealer in North Dakota (ND).... I don't see an Option to choose that Razz and Minnesota I don't see any close to the ND border... So I think that reason is out the window.

Once again... I don't need any opinions on why I'm not getting contacted... I was wondering if anyone from yorkville was on the forums so i could try and contact them.

Calm down a bit. If Yorkville is anything like every place I've ever worked, most of them are out on vacation until after the New Year.  Even if you are able to contact somebody at Yorkville next week, they are very unlikely to be the person you need to talk to.

Hi all, I just caught wind of this thread and saw obvious reason to reply. I haven't frequented the board much lately, as pointed out, we all do double (or in my case quintuple) or more duty around here, so some things have to fall by the wayside in sometimes.

I do find it unusual that you have not heard back at all from us and I will follow up on your claim with the person who should be handling your request. I do know that the website has had a few mail server issues recently (one of the many hats that I wear), so it is very possible that the guilty party in this case may not have received the requests at all.

If you email me here: wm@yorkville.com with the information that is asked in the "Becoming a Dealer" application FOUND HERE I will forward it directly to the appropriate person and follow it up with a phone call when they return from holidays next week.

Again, I apologize that this has not been addressed sooner, but I have not been able to check in here very often as of late. I recently launched a new website for the Traynor brand, am frantically trying to complete a new website for ART Pro Audio before NAMM, just put the finishing touches to some detail work on the new Traynor bass amp/cabinet line (oops, did I say that out loud?), have a ton more updates to apply to both the Apex Electronics and Alto Pro Audio websites alongside a ton of other things that I can't really discuss openly right now. Oh, and a proof for our "New for NAMM" newsletter just got placed on my desk to proof-read over before final print. On that note, it seems I am being pulled in yet another direction, email me at the above address and I will deal with your situation as soon as I receieve it so that it doesn't go unattended any longer.

Sincerely,

Nice to see you here!

Any chance the weight of the new UCS1P is available yet and could be put on the specs on the website?

Oh, and for some reason, the specs (on the non-printer frendly pages) show up as dark grey text on black in my Opera (9.01) browser.

I like my Yorkville speakers!

Thank you much Shale. Didn't mean to sound annoyed. I understand website issue's. As I've had my fair share also.

Was one of those days that I shouldn't have opened up this can of worms.

Thank you for your contact info. You should be hearing from me tommorow if I have some free time.

Maybe I just got sent to the wrong people, I just thought it was odd for how much praise you guys get.

Thank you very much for your reply. The whole Prosoundweb thanks vendors like you. Even if us users sound grumpy sometimes Very Happy
