powered mixer

At the risk of being blasted for talking about integrated/powered stuff...I was wondering if any of you have heard much about the Soundcraft Gigrac 1000.  My church is needing to put together a small portable system for outreach events and camps (were talking less than 100 people).  The gigrac is a great price and we have used soundcraft boards before.  I can't seem to find anyone who has actually used it...so I thought I would open it up to you...anyone...anyone

While I am not familiar with that particular piece of equipment, I've found powered mixers to be limiting.  I'd be more inclined to go with powered speakers instead of a powered mixer, as you get a bit more flexibility.  Plus, if all you need is 1 microphone, you often don't need a mixer.
