my next amp for my HT
« on: November 19, 2006, 07:24:47 pm »

Good day every one, i know i'll get many different opinions here and maybe start a war Lol and my question is not SR related, but here we go. I was wondering for my next purchace for my surround for about the same price within 80$ (here in Canada anyway) i can get an XLS 602D,XTI 1000, XS 500, or an RMX 1850 HD so i'd like to hear about your experience on the sound/relability/quality and maybe other amps. So far i do have a Bryston 4B for my rear channel and a XLS402B for my front and my 402B will go mono for the sub when i'll get the next amp. the amp should be somewhere between 300-400 watts@ 8 ohms thank you.

First as required by forum rules, you must use your real name.

Depending on where the amps are located (assuming in the room), I would look for something that does not have a fan FIRST, then look at other issues.

Can I have some more talent in the monitors--PLEASE?

Good day Stephane is my real name. For the fan issue well i do not find my XLS402 noisy in my wall unit, i did also considered a used Crown K1 but might be more then what i'd like to spend.Thank you.
