Use the Xpsots regularly, and robe 575 ATs, but never the 1200AT.
The Xspot has a less powerful lamp by nearly 50%, but the performance, features and build quality are outstanding. However, like a luxury car, you will need large pockets to maintain them.
The Robes (575s, can't speak fot the 1200s) have been impressive in their output and reliability, but are nothing special in terms of features or innovation.
What are you planning to use to control them? The Xspots can be a real PITA on anything other than the hog that their software was designed to run on.
I'd hazard a guess that the Robes will be less expensive than Xspots (anyone care to shed some facts here?)

I'd recommend borrowing or renting one of each, and having a shootout (hilarious if you can get both sales reps there at the same time).
Best of luck

the 575 is brighter then the xspot? The xspot xtreme puts 16,000 lumens which i believe to be more then mac 2k's and the robe 1200's.

All fixutes will be controlled with a Jands Vista T4

I believe the mac2k performance puts out 23,000 lumens.

If you compare the charts from the two websites, the Robe 1200E AT and High End X-Spot Extreme are both very, very close. The Robe has a broader zoom range (13-42) than the High End (15-30), which makes comparing the two charts somewhat skewed, but there's not a whole lot of difference in output (if I am reading the charts correctly).

A few specs are off here.
The high end xspot with the 4:1 lens has a 12-48 zoom. And the xspot also offer a bit more color correction. Xspot - 3000-7500 vs robes 3200-5600.

I think at this points it whatever fits the budget best...
