Adamson M15
Mike Butler (media):
Well, the Wedgefest in Troy retreats in my rear-view, along with reminiscences of adventures in 140+db land, and now it is time to get on with individual evaluations of monitor boxes.
I haven't been heard from very much lately; soon after Wedgefest 2006, I had a little "vacation" in Yale-New Haven Hospital to have 7 screws, a plate and a rod removed from my leg, and I am much less mobile on foot as I recover and await my next orthopedic reconstruction project. Meanwhile, my sparse posts have no doubt been flavored by Percocet and Vicodin (la la ) .
The Adamson M15 wedge, somewhat overlooked by fellow LABsters, caught my eye, partly because I have always been partial to 15" 2-way systems, having spent much of my adolescence listening to the likes of the Altec Voice of the Theatre
Mike McNany:
Mike,
Do you think you could post a couple photos of the end speakon layouts? I think a multiuse cabinet having those extra speakons makes for much easier wiring. I'd like to see how they did theirs.
My Yorkie E210s backside speakons puts a heckva strain on the cable when in the normal monitor position. My Yammy SM12IVs have them only on one side and that's the speaker TOP when pole mounted
Of course, this begs the question, does Neutrik make rubber filler caps for unused speakons? They ought to!

So, I wanted to let everyone know that the Adamson M15's got picked up and are making their way down to to MD to Evan's shin dig - road trip - so stay tuned and let's see who gets them next.

Mike, unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to get out the camera and get a few shots before sending these off to Maryland. Maybe the next tester will be more on his toes.
Bennett Prescott:
Oops... I forgot to come back here and post this... When I was in MD for Evan's LAB Get Together I made a point to takea shot or two of the Adamson M15s. As you can see the layout of the NL4s is quite inventive, the bottom of the speaker has a jack just like the top as well.
