Shure SLX receptions?
« on: August 10, 2006, 12:13:02 AM »

Hello

I've purchased some SLX wireless systems with Beta58 Transmitters.
I was wondering if it's worth to upgrade the antennas to 1/2 wave antenna or even the Antenna distribution.

The receiver will never be more then 50ft away from the transmitter.
So far, I don't have any problem.
But if the extra 100$ in upgrading the antennas would help.
I would spend it.

Thanks in advance

I realy don't think so. I've had issues with the SLX not liking to go through Two Cement walls and then another 150 ft with the basic antennea's.... so 50ft?? No I wouldn't.

We have the distribution system and have not had a problem, even in our sub-basement which is 4 walls of concrete 15 feet below street level. You should be fine with the standard antennas out in the open.
