We have 12 tops which barely keep up.  The 2 per side is just for demo purposes.

The amps on the 15's run harder than anything else...

This is why horn loaded midbass with these subs make such a huge difference, sound so much tighter, and blend together some much more naturally than with direct radiators and the mud they produce.

Andy,

did you try to equalize those 2" hi and try your system
without tweeters...

I have JBL 2446 and I did few times without tweeters,but I'm
scared I will blow them (for techno and house DJ's)
those replacement parts are expensive

I know it's off topic,sorry.

Hi Martin,

We almost always run them without tweeters-  just fine.

Most people won't even notice the difference...
