That's great Mr. Prescott, you guys'll like the 3 way wedge, if you have enough power for it. Best in 3 way active but it'll do well in 2 way. I have the DSP settings.

I like my beer like used motor oil, I hope John has something along those lines...

Do you have a list of the technician entertainers? Who's who is gonna be there, should I bring my bass?

Who's coming, and does anyone need a lift from the ohio area? I have room in my bus for a few people if they wanna share the fuel.It sleeps 4 by the way, so it's not too crowded, look ma, no hotels!

I have no idea who's playing, but please bring an instrument. I only play things that don't usually go in monitors (double manual french harpsichord), so I'd love to hear opinions from people that are more used to being on stage.

Evan and Tom were going to come and bring some instruments, but they couldn't make it (AFAIK). You'll have to fight it out with the rest of the LABsters... there's going to be a herd of us.

If it's a "murder" of crows or a "pod" of whales, couldn't it be a "sound" of Labsters?  Shocked

A feedback of monitor techs
A wash of front of house techs
A whine of system engineers
A blazon of stage managers
A sustain of keyboard techs
A string of guitar techs
A skin of drum techs
A buzz of factory reps

Cool

Hey Bennett,

I had been planning on attending both days of the wedge fest. I am coming up with a McCauley SM72 and had made arrangements for McCauley to drop ship to the club their 3 way SM950. Last month I checked with you via email about this and your available electronics packages. Is it still OK to provide these monitors?

Best,

Paul Bell

Paul,
Do you know when they plan on delivery..can you send me a routing number or some way to track it..there is not a full time staff around here during the day.
Thanks,
John

This is tomorrow and the day after, starting at 10:00 a.m. Saturday! I've got a ton of wedges and amps, lots of great SWAG, and I don't want any of it back at the end of the event! Come eat, drink, be merry, show off your feedback hacking chops, and harass in person people you've only been able to harass online.

Well,
It's done and soon Bennett and the boys will compile the results for all of our reading pleasures. It was great meeting and hanging with all who attended...open to hosting other events in the future. I will be keeping the Community M12's and a Camco amp to check out at a show this week.

Were the results of this shoot-out posted yet?

It wasn't a shoot-out, but if you go to the Wedge Fest Wrap Up thread in the Product Reviews forum (http://srforums.prosoundweb.com/index.php/t/16876/4221/) you'll find many impressions.
